Long Covid and the vaccine

Many people believe that long Covid poses a serious threat to those who have mild symptoms or no symptoms with Covid, whatever their age and health status.
Heart damage, lung damage, organ failure, strikes in purportedly fit and healthy young people following a mild dose of Covid.

So what will happen with the vaccine?
Will those vaccinated still be susceptible to long Covid? Presumably yes.

If the vaccine stops you getting COVID then you won't get long COVID

Long COVID likely to be a risk for those for whom the vaccine prevent severe illness, but not all types of long covid

I think there are 5 different flavours of long covid last time I looked at it

The basic post viral fatigue still possible but I would expect much less likely organ damage

Also I don't know of anyone with long covid who didn't have quite bad covid even if not hospitalised

midge I thought the vaccine simply reduced symptoms - thus deaths and the need to be hospitalised.

No it mostly reduces people catching the virus in the first place

This might be a stupid question, but if someone is suffering from long Covid, is it ok to get the vaccine?
