Say if you cut your finger and you touch something that an infected person has previously touched, can you get infected through the wound (not touching your face/eyes, etc)?

not known to do that, it latches onto cells in your lungs. You don't have the same type of cells in your blood. Most germs have a preferred way to get to people.

You can worry about tetanus instead if you like.

Ah, ok, I was wondering because I usually get paper cuts, etc and when I do I still apply sanitiser, etc. But I was wondering if I should wear a band aid as well just in case.

I'm overthinking this. I know Blush

No, but if you've touched a surface that someone else has touched, there's always the chance the the germs will make their way to the right place anyway if you touch your face etc.
