Quality Street for GP practice for Christmas?

I have a routine appointment tomorrow. The surgery has been really good over the last year and I was going to bring in a box of Quality Street but I don't want to create more problems if it's a pain for them to receive things that might need wiping down.

We are in Tier Two.

Can anyone advise?

Not this year wait until restrictions over I am sure they will understand

I think that's sensible. I can still thank them verbally, of course.

No reason not to take a box of chocolates if you want to. Given the year they have had, it would be a nice thing to do.

My surgery send text asking any donations be send to food bank instead. They normally get lots of biscuits and chocolates to many to get through anyway.

From experience, what would really be appreciated is a card with a note in it saying why you appreciate them so much. Especially this year, when they will have been fending off criticisms from all sides.

Thank you all. Smile

Ask them where they'd like you to send a donation to, which as above might well be the food bank.

Also a reminder to everyone that food poverty doesn't stop after Christmas. Donations usually decrease in January and February, when demand increases most. Please donate after Christmas if you're able to.
