If you’ve had coronavirus, do you feel safe to visit family?

My family have all had coronavirus and I really want to visit my mum. I still feel anxious about it though.
I’m worried that I could still pass it on. I’m not mixing with other people and just doing the normal things like going to the supermarket with a mask on.
Are other people feeling confidant about not passing anything on if they’ve had it?

I am anxious about it. Not so much us passing it onto them. We take covid pretty seriously but our families do not, so I worry what risk they pose to us but yes I totally understand. I worry about seeing my Grandma but I will hopefully be seeing her at Christmas. She’s in a support bubble with mothers support bubble who socialise with everyone! So I feel the risk is less for us seeing her than others.

I’ve just had it & I must say, I feel a slight sense of being a lot less risk for a short period. I know you can catch it again but it seems unlikely within a month or so! I won’t do anything differently but I just feel a bit less worried about my vulnerable mum!

Yes, I had a severe case and feel that I must be bursting with antibodies at the moment. Unfortunately, due to tier 3 I wont be seeing anybody anyway. The only people I will be sharing Christmas with have all had it as well.
