Anyone know the guidance of you have to travel regularly INTO a higher tier?

Everything online talks about taking your higher tier rules with you when you travel to a lower tier. But if you have to travel for work into a higher tier (London), do you have to keep the higher tier rules back at home because you've spent so much time in a higher tier, maybe mixing with the public?

There's literally no guidance on this!

I think the rules apply to whichever tier you are in at the time. So stick to tier one rules when there and lower tier rules when back at home. Just a thorough shower and clothes change on entering home.

Just stick to the rules of the tier you are in, eg you won't be able to eat in a restaurant.

But the 'thorough shower and clothes change on entering home' is a bit over the top. The infection rate in tier 3 isn't necessarily any higher than in tier 2 and in many cases, is actually lower, and wherever you are, over 99% of people don't have the virus anyway.

Used to the showering and changing clothes outside of Covid anyway. DH and I work with generally manky people.
