Are kids still getting normal colds?!

DS (11, secondary school) has a very stuffy nose and is tired. No temp.

I had Covid nearly 4 weeks ago but back to work now. I started with sinus pain, headache and tiredness.

I won't send him to school on Monday if he's still like this either way but just wondering if we should get him tested or if normal colds are still circulating...?

From observing children around school - yes, but in vastly reduced numbers.

Normally, by December most of the class is sniffing and coughing. This year - almost nothing. And nearly full attendance, aside from anyone who is isolating or getting a test.

one positive side effect of all the restrictions, I guess.

Yep they definitely are - we've had to have our toddler tested three times, each more traumatic than the last, but each one has indeed just been a cold

What other types of fraud are you willing to commit because you don't agree with the rules. Unless you are paying for a private test you cannot get a test because you are not eligible for a publicly funded one and would need to lie in order to get one on the NHS.[/quote]
Are you high?? Fraud 😂

Op was positive and works in a school. So you’d rather she went to school and possibly infected 10s of other people who could in turn infect more because she got a test without a cough.

Honestly covid has turned some people’s brains to mush.
