Would you test with these symptoms?

Teenager woke up with slight sore throat but said went after drink , then has developed an upset stomach as well as feeling sick and blocked nose
Felt a little warm but according to my thermometer no temp?
Doesn't have covid symptoms as listed yet , although wouldn't surprise me if a temp develops as got more unwell in last 30 mins?
Concerns me as reading about teenagers having different symptoms
Or should i just see how he goes for today and assume poss just a cold and stomach bug

Honestly - I would.

In my school this week we have had 15+ cases.

Half of those DIDN'T have the common symptoms and lots had those that you describe - temp, upset stomach.

Test capacity is high at the moment and so get booked in, it can't hurt.

I would too
There are some odd symptoms with covid. There is no shortage just now of testing capacity. Many test centres have staff twiddling their thumbs

I would. I had these symptoms and tested positive. You'll have to lie and tick that you have one of the symptoms to get the test. Stupid really because I didn't have any of the classic symptoms.

I know we have mobile testing place at moment which I know has spaces , you would think if there are spaces they would test with other symptoms and ask you to mention them so they can see if something needs to be added
He feels warmish but my thermometer not reg as a temp reading at 35.5 which even normally he registers higher as we take temp reguarly before his sports to fill in form
Have gpt another one I am going to dig out and see if This measures differently
