Statistics for 'long covid' or continuing health issues?

Does anyone know if/where statistics can be found (preferably UK-wide, including devolved nations, or global) for those who experience continuing health issues after testing positive with Covid?

Looking for - hopefully - numbers for, say, one month after diagnosis, 3 months, 6 months. Or something similar.

Thanks.

I really doubt you'll find much of use right now. There isnt a consistent way of deciding what is long COVID, of recording who has it or of following them up. Sucks.

Yeah I wasn't sure if Long Covid was an official diagnosis as such, but surely they must be recording incidents where people are reporting ongoing health issues following diagnosis of Covid?

Hopefully more data will become available when they launch all this 'support' they are claiming is in the pipeline for those affected.

I've read it's estimated that for everyone who has died of covid in the UK, there is someone with long covid - so about 60-65k at the moment. Of course the real numbers could be a lot higher as it's hard to define exactly what counts as long term illness.

😔 That's a lot of people, and am sure the numbers WILL be higher.

I already have ME and its not the fear of dying of Covid for me, its the fear of potentially being left in an even worse state of functioning than I already am 🙁 These people are completely forgotten about when people talk about the 'low death rate' and such.
