Have they said when they expect healthy, relatively young people to get the vaccine?

DH and I are early thirties. No health conditions. Obviously expect to be at the bottom of the list! But would be interested to know if and when we could potentially be vaccinated.

Oh I didn't hear him say that first group will include over 50s - is that correct?

Well I might be earlier then Smile

If we assume everyone is vaccinated (bearing in mind the vaccine being distributed this month needs two appointments a set time apart and can only be delivered in set quantities of around 1000, and transported at very low temps, then this looks like being a rolling programme of annual vaccines perhaps? Hopefully we won't need it more often than that or it will all start to fall apart at the seams.

Really interesting list if it does work out like that, though I suspect the word "from" is very important there. I'm 50 & no other risk factors, I'll be there when I'm invited but don't feel like I should be a massive priority over and above say someone a little younger who has a customer facing keyworker job. But I'm wildly excited on my 86 year old dad's behalf!

To be honest I think the schedule above is very optimistic. I’m a health care worker although not hospital based and we’ve been told we probably won’t be vaccinated until February . So we will all get there eventually but I think the logistics especially with the Pfizer vaccine will slow things down
