Thoughts please... Dad has been asked to have a routine covid test before a minor opp. His car has broken down. I am part of his support bubble. Can I drive him through with my mask on and window down?

I did. I made adult DS who doesn't drive, sit in the back, mask on, window down.

In the driver's seat, I was masked and visored, also with the window down.

The test was negative Smile

You may well not be allowed to have the car window down. At our drive-in test centre the first official we meet holds a sign up saying to keep the windows closed.

You can drive him (I've done it twice once for dd whose car was in the garage at the time and once for dh who doesn't drive). You won't be allowed to have the window down though and if he does test positive you will have to isolate.

If you are part of his support bubble (and therefore are treated as one household so don't need to social distance from each other) why do you think you would need the window down in the car?
