You are within the incubation period so you may end up positive within that time. A false negative is also possible

Augustbreeze · 21/11/2020 20:39

Transmission within a household is less than 50%.

dingledongle · 21/11/2020 21:21

Really less than 50%?
I have sat in a car with DD sneezing for more than fifteen minutes!
How can it be when every diarrhoea and cold they have ever had including scarlet fever has spread to us?
It cannot be that contagious surely if this is true!

I imagine you have got it or have had it. The tests aren’t 100%. I think the fatigue is a huge red flag.

dingledongle · 21/11/2020 21:25

gunpowder i think so too, it is a different tired iyswim

Ds and dh could be asymptomatic. You might have already had it without knowing and have antibodies. You may still be incubating it. You might not catch it. It doesn't sound as if dd had many symptoms so maybe she isn't a super spreader. Presumably none of you are at high risk so probably won't be very ill. Even if not highly contagious some of those who catch it can be very ill.
