Anyone else got to the shops and cried because they forgot their mask?

Yep. Done just that. Could of sworn I packed it and I normally carry a spare. So burst into tears outside Tesco.

Sometimes I feel I just cant do this anymore! Pathetic I know.

I use a buff too! We bought several and I've popped them in our cars, near my keys, in my bag! Before I got the buffs I once forgot so just pulled my coat over my face.
I felt a bit silly but someone else had forgotten and was doing the same thing when I was in there. Made me feel better!

No but I once cried when I got asked for ID for wine and had nothing on me so I'm pathetic too, if it's any consolation.
I've forgotten my mask for the bus and luckily the driver let me on, I just covered my face with my jumper. Had he (understandably) refused to let me on, I probably would have been stressed about it.

They have them at the entrance to the store.

Like PPs, I am a buff-lover :-) They are lovely and colourful and, added bonus as it gets colder, they're a cosy little scarf while walking to the shops. No, I don't work for them! But it means I never forget my mask (before I got my buff, I did once go to Lidl and realise I'd forgotten my mask... I pulled my jumper up over nose and mouth and looked a right wally as I had to scuttle round the shop with my shoulders up round my ears!)

I went into a motorway service station a few months ago and forgot my mask. Was in the loo before I realised. Oh well.

I used DD1’s ballet socks when I forgot my mask on the nursery run once. Luckily they were clean but I wouldn’t recommend it, it was hard to breathe!

I keep a mask in my coat pocket and just re-use that when I have to pop into a shop.

I have, more than once! I have a 2 month old and trying to remember everything and actually getting out of the house is hard at the moment! It’s not pathetic, yes you could just go into the shop and buy a mask but sometimes something silly and small tips you over the edge and logic goes out of the window!
