Has anyone done an antibody test?

I sent off my gov finger prick antibody test on Friday last week and the website said that results come between 3 and 7 days. I’m wondering if anyone else has had to wait much longer?

It’s obviously not urgent as I don’t need to self isolate like with an antigen test but I’m curious to know.

@Rhayader The study was being done by Imperial College. I know there is hope that the vaccine-induced immunity will last longer but no proof and personally I am skeptical, knowing the history of attempts to develop coronavirus vaccines. But only time will tell.

@JuliaSevern yes I’m ok, thanks! I felt awful last weekend but feeling better, a few symptoms lingering though.

I also did antibody test as part of Scottish gov education study. I work in nursery.

So, are results from the finger prick ones no longer valid at all?
I really didn't know that!

I did one (teacher in Scotland) about 3 or 4 weeks ago. Posted blood sample off Tuesday lunchtime, results simultaneously sent by text and email on the Wednesday evening. Negative.

Any sign OP? I just sent mine off today. I had confirmed covid a month ago but am curious about antibodies so figured I may as well give it a whirl!

Yes, I was randomly plucked by imperial to do an antibody test which was like a pregnancy test where you wait for the lines.
Total anticlimax for me

I had a letter from doctors about selected at random for an antibody test. Anyone had this?
