Has this guidance changed? (NHS isolation)

From the NHS website re: if you test positive -

Keep self-isolating if you have any of these symptoms after 10 days:
• a high temperature or feeling hot and shivery
• a runny nose or sneezing
• feeling or being sick
• diarrhoea
Only stop self-isolating when these symptoms have gone.

I don't remember seeing runny nose? Or feeling sick on the list before only a high temp?

That’s to continue self isolating, not start. So if you have a positive test and after 11 days still have diarrhoea then keep isolating even if your fever / cough has settled. Lots of people have these symptoms with COVID but it wouldn’t be workable to have everyone with just those isolate / test as they’re more common / less specific.

Yes sorry @PinkDaffodil2 I understand it's for stopping self isolating but I'm still sure this guidance has changed recently as it was just a high temp before and didn't include the others?

Sorry to answer your actual question - I think it must have changed at some point as early on it said to wait until the time had passed and you were fever free for 2 days or so, and could stop isolating if just a cough persisted.

The other symptoms weren’t mentioned before.
