That's it really! Thanks.

DH had one a few weeks ago, it was posted back on the Thursday evening and he had his results on the Sunday afternoon.

CastIron · 17/11/2020 17:42

I'm so jealous of short waiting times. We're on more than 48 hours now. The kids coughs are completely gone.

If they are positive, anyone they came into contact with on Friday could be spreading around without knowing. I wish all tests came back within 24 hours.

PlantDoctor · 17/11/2020 20:53

Had a drive-in test on 10th and it took exactly 71 hours..

booboo24 · 18/11/2020 09:02

I had my test at 10am yesterday, results through at 7am today, negative thankfully. We are in the SE

borageforager · 18/11/2020 12:42

Some of these are so quick!

Tested DS at 8am on Friday, DH's colleague was able to get the negative result over the phone 1pm Monday (DH is a doctor), text message with the results didn't come through till Tuesday 10am.

bathsh3ba · 18/11/2020 12:46

DD11 tested 3pm yesterday, negative result 7am today, very impressed

fillmeupbuttercup · 18/11/2020 12:49

Yesterday at midday.... still waiting...

LioneIRichTea · 18/11/2020 12:52

I had a test and isolated for 14 days, I finished my isolation before I had the test results back.

This was beginning September.

PickledRick · 18/11/2020 12:56

Posted test Monday evening. Results back by text Tuesday evening.

PickledRick · 18/11/2020 12:57

Oh and this was yesterday

chateaudoodoo · 18/11/2020 13:01

Mine was tested Saturday 3pm
Back at 6am on Monday- positive- luckily came before I headed out to a front line job!!
Had a negative test 10 days before but felt so unwell coughing ++++ that I couldn't believe it wasn't covid
Seems around 30 percent are false negatives!
So take care
Finally on the mend now but has been almost three weeks - feeling lucky I

PolytheneHam · 18/11/2020 13:03

I had one last Monday at 12.30pm and got the (positive) result at 8.20am the following day. I work in a hospital though, so turn around is quick.

DH, on the other hand, had a test at a walk-through place last Thursday and still hasn't had his result despite trying to chase it up twice.

CarryOnWalking · 18/11/2020 13:09

Test yesterday at 10am, results today at 7 am. Negative, thankfully,

EllenRipley · 18/11/2020 13:10

My son was tested at 11.30am at our local testing centre and we had the results before midnight the same day.

Callcat · 18/11/2020 13:12

My mum tested last Friday. Still no results (Wales)

Had a test about 10am on Monday morning. Got the results about 6am Tuesday morning.

southchinasea · 18/11/2020 18:29

My partner got his result after 26 hours, mine took 30 hours. Surrey, drive in test centre, both negative.

Jrobhatch29 · 18/11/2020 18:30

My mam and dad got theirs in 12 hours last week. I was stunned! Both negative thankfully

BatleyTownswomensGuild · 18/11/2020 18:36

Took a test last month at a drive thru centre - came back in 24 hours (positive 🙁). Drive thru results definitely seem to be quicker than home tests

Unjudgemental · 18/11/2020 18:44

My son was tested in September and never got his results. Got a recorded message when I've tried to call 119.

TJ17 · 18/11/2020 18:52

My 11 week old poor daughter was tested Monday just as standard because she's going into hospital tomorrow and we've still not heard a thing but was told to still go to the appointment regardless! So what a waste of time and resources that was! (And distress to my poor baby)

UniversalHadIt · 18/11/2020 18:55

Had a test with DS at a walk-in clinic at noon on Monday, test results arrived 8am Tuesday.

DS had a mild cough (asthma but nursery needed a test)...I was also automatically offered a test as in the same household despite not reporting symptoms - not sure if that’s only happening where I am, which is a high caseload area, or if that’s now a national policy

SansaSnark · 18/11/2020 18:57

Had a test at 11am yesterday, results today in less than 24 hours.

Very impressed.
