Can Covid cause neurological and skin issues ?

I've recently had a positive Covid test, had symptoms but the past two days I've had a itchy rash between my breast and I'm getting my words wrong and mixed up, instead of saying to my toddler 'where did you get they pencil from' I said 'where did you get they knife from'
And instead of telling My son 'can you please go and sit down'
I said 'can you please go to bed'
And it's happened a lot more, I'm wondering my whether this is a symptom as well? And will Covid have caused lasting damage. I still can't taste or smell over a week later

The neuro symptoms are quite common with covid, not sure about the rash.

Unsure my boss has reported a VERY itchy scalp though

I have heard of rashes in covid and weird word mix ups

Yes! Is the simple answer. I had Covid in March and have suffered from both skin rashes and 'brain fog'. I have Post Covid syndrome now and the skin rashes have gone and the brain fog is slowly clearing.

Yes to both. I had a terrible rash. Also on my chest. So much so that I thought I was getting shingles again from being so run down. I hope you feel better soon.

Porcupineinwaiting · 09/11/2020 20:21

Yes both are really common. Sorry.

Oh wow I had a really itchy chest around March time. Never really had anything like thst before, interesting to see it could have been related to other covid symptoms I had.
