In a tier 2 area. Should add I'm also an NHS worker.

Friend 1- NHS worker working with immunocompromised children. Went with 4 friends (none of whom live together) to a spa for the day last weekend in another town. This weekend is going over to another friends house.

Friend 2- teacher. Went with a group of friends on a trip to the country (They don't live together) last week. Went on a date with someone she's been seeing for a month last night.

Friend 3- teacher. Asked if she could come over to mine. I said no, we're in tier 2. She then started asking for recommendations for UK trips as she wants to go away this half term!

I really despair

I'm a teacher. If I can mix with 1000 people over the course of the day, with no ppe or social distancing, then no-one is going to tell me that it's not safe to see my mum.
It certainly doesn't sound like it's safe for your mum to be seeing you!

You are not safe at school and government don't give a fuck.
It's even less safe now to see your mum because of where you work.

This what happens when you are at the pointy end of the hypocrisy and self-serving nature of the present UK government.

One guy I know has been off for EIGHT weeks altogether for isolation. He mingles with mucky people. Not once has he been off because of work, every time because he refuses to give up his social life.
