When do you no longer have Covid

Looking for some advice/your point of view. My DS, 21, tested positive for Covid. His symptoms were headache, slight temperature, very very slight sore throat and sickness on 1 day. He no longer has any of those symptoms apart from tiredness. We are self isolating, of course, and will remain so for the full 14 days from when his symptoms started. My question is when can I relax slightly and believe that he is over Covid? As any mum I am out of my mind with worry, and I fully appreciate and am thankful that he seemed to have it milder than some others 🙏 my DH and I are awaiting our test results - regardless of the outcome we will still continue the full 14 days. What are your thoughts?

He is free to come out if isolation after 10 days as long as he's been free of a temperature for 48 hours. If he still has symptoms (other than a cough or loss of taste/smell) he stays isolating until they pass

At 21 I'd say if it hasn't worsened in 7 days then it wont. However you may find he gets periodic relapses (nothing major, just a day or two of feeling knackered) for a few months. Or he may not.
