As in what symptoms did you have? And we’re they the main listed ones?
And what was the result?

My DD at Uni texted me to say she’d woke up with a headache and very mild cough - told her to get a test - positive .

Well after I posted Zoe asked me to test... so I have done. We will see!

Annoyingly child sent home from school with snotty nose and 37.4 temp had to get test before they would let her back !!

Blinding headache. 3 members of my form tested positive within a week, as well as 2 more students I teach. The Head had a very heated conversation with PHE and DfE as we are not able to be 2 metres from the front row of students, but teachers don't count as contacts at high school apparently.

I tested over the weekend and it came back Sunday night as positive. 2 other teachers also positive this week and 5 more waiting for results. Blinding headache has become very sore throat and fluctuating temperature, but only about 5 days after the headache started, 7 days after contact with now a group of positive kids.

And it has to be school; DH is negative (had a temp the day after I tested) and I only go to work; shopping is delivered!

I had a cold last week, then started with the symptoms of an ear infection at the weekend and my temperature has been up to 38.8, so I contacted my GP about the ear infection and they told me I had to get tested due to the temperature I’ve got, even though it’s highly unlikely it’s Covid.

I’ve been today and I must say it was easy to book, well organised and the man who did my test was lovely and put me really at ease (even though I don’t think I’ve got it).

Had a cold for a few days then a temperature. Was sure it was just a cold but went for a test because it met the criteria. I tested positive. Symptoms developed over the following days to include more of the recognised symptoms though.

InvisibleToEveryone · 20/10/2020 13:31

Got tested Sunday afternoon...still waiting for the results.

Had a bit of what I'd call a cold, a bit of a cough, but nothing I'd take notice of.
Friday realised I cannot smell or taste anything.
Its really bizarre.
Absolutely nothing.

So got tested.

Now I've got a bit of a tight chest, and got very sweaty peeling vegetables.

But as I said still waiting for my results.

I had a high temperature that came on quote suddenly one evening. No other symptoms and the temperature subsided by the following day. Negative.

I heard from a friend that she had a stomach ache and a mouth ulcer. Tested positive. I think she may have tested because the Zoe app said to.

How many people are wandering around completely oblivious of the fact they 'have it'?

And yet a lot of people who think they could have it, don't - about 93% of tests turn out negative.
