Who has had the weird app notification about possible Covid exposure?

And what happened next?

I got one in the night last night and am incredibly anxious. Reading up that lots of people get it and it’s only a maybe unless it’s followed up with a message to isolate has not reassured me as I could be one of the ones that the contact gets verified. It doesn’t help that on Friday I went out and did the most I’ve done since this all started (all legal) including quite a lot of public transport.

So if you’ve had this ‘Possible Covid exposure, verifying exposure info’ thing, how long ago was it and what happened next?

I have had both notifications in quick succession on each of the last 3 days.

I haven't left the house in those days. I tested positive on Wednesday though, as it's a hospital swab, I can't enter it onto the app. Only possible exposure I could have had in the past few days is ,self!

No follow up notification so no idea where I stand.

I’ve had the first with no follow up. It’s nothing honestly.

I had my first “Possible Covid-19 exposure” warning recently, swiftly followed by “Covid-19 Exposure Check Complete” saying I don’t need to isolate. I found it reassuring in a way. At least I know the app is doing something.

It’s historic, I don’t know how far back it goes - it says 48 hours is the crucial timeframe but I suspect if someone rests positive they’ll look back over longer than that.
