Clients visiting home Tier 2 area

I am in a tier 2 area. I work from home and my clients come to my home. Can I continue working? This must affect lots of people running small client based businesses like hairdressing

Presumably if it's clients then your industry has Covid secure guidelines that you have to comply with, and as long as you're doing that it's allowed.

Yes you can. There was a metro article on exactly this. Mobile hairdressers can still work too in tier 2.

@Soletsgotothepubearlierthen Thanks - I have tried to find the article without success. I don’t want to risk breaking the rules but need to work

Have you actually taken measures to protect the clients coming to your home?

Youandmeareluckytobeus · 17/10/2020 10:17

Chiropody - yes.
Acupuncture - yes.
Prostitution - no.

DeltaFlyer · 17/10/2020 10:18

I'm in a tier 2 area but my hairdresser who works from home is in tier 1 and she cancelled my Thursday appointment. But appointments from people in the tier 1 area where she lives are still going ahead.
The family were shielding during lockdown so she wants to take extra precautions

@Youandmeareluckytobeus

Chiropody - yes. Acupuncture - yes. Prostitution - no.
Do you have a link Re the chiropody and acupuncture. They are closer to what I do than prostitution 🤣
