When we went into lock down all outdoor toys (trampolines, bikes etc) and indoor exercise equipment was out of stock everywhere, are patio heaters going to be next?!

I don't think so. I looked at them online a week or so ago and didn't realise how expensive they are. I think cost will prevent mass sales.

I also had no idea how bad they were for the environment until I read this. I thought they were electric.

I’ve got a couple of electric ones. They’re not brilliant but ok if you huddle close to them.

We have a lovely wee chiminea that keeps us nice and cosy so I'll probably break that out. DS is only 10 months though so we wouldn't sit out too long. It's easier to go for a walk and have him all wrapped up cosy in his pram.

We've got 2 !!!

You can have a weather pod each and some blankets.

Dreadful things. What is the world coming to when we think it is necessary to heat the open air?

BlueBlancmange · 16/10/2020 16:48

Aren't we supposed to be trying to reduce damage to the environment, not increase it?
