Vulnerable (not medically) adults and suppott

So I am autistic, I need support in certain situations. I do have a partner, but he is unable (for very good reasons, including the fact that he isn't female and cannot do the things that help me cope) to support me all the time. I have one friend, who is my support network. We have been careful all this time, we mostly meet outdoors, if we go for a meal we sit outdoors if we can. We do share a car, she takes me places that get me out the house and to the things that help me cope.

I've worked very hard to get to this point, repairing the damage done by the original lockdown. I can only go to a small supermarket (where the staff know me), attempted to go in to town, but couldn't deal with it on my own. She takes me to races (I have no car), we run together and go to some classes together.

Will this still be permitted as care of a vulnerable person in tier 2??

*I should add i am classed by the police as a vulnerable adult and there are certain areas where I am not allowed to go on my own thanks to an abusive ex

You're allowed a support person in the circumstances you describe. That can be an informal arrangement.

Yes definitely. It would be cruel otherwise.
