No!

Dollywilde · 15/10/2020 10:28

I thought yes, aren’t support bubbles for childcare still permitted?

GinAtMerlottes · 15/10/2020 10:28

Yes, informal childcare arrangements are exempt from household mixing rules.

Is she in a bubble with you? If so yes. There are specific rules about childcare outside bubbles. Also, how much do you care? I'm afraid I don't understand how childcare can be justified if it's a registered setting but babysitting is an absolute no, no. (FYI - I am 100% against shutting schools or childcare facilities).

There is guidance here in relation to Nottingham which is Level 2. You can in theory form a childcare bubble with your mum subject to some restrictions.

“You will not be allowed to take your children inside their grandparents' house as this would break the new lockdown rules banning the mixing of households.“

The government guidance on the childcare bubble is here

Yes. For childcare so YES!

@Threesocks thanks so much. It says I can! Relief!

Yes we would allow our parents to look after the DC if needed

3littlewords · 15/10/2020 11:15

Yes informal childcare for children under 14 can still go ahead . I believe the arrangement needs to be consistent though so you can't have your DM mind them 1 day and then your in laws the day after and another relative the day after although I could be wrong on the latter
