Just waiting is awful....how long did yours take to arrive if sent this week?

Lol I got excited earlier as I had an email from NHS Coronavirus.

It was a survey asking my experience of the process! I haven’t had the result yet!!

I got that to, there is a section to leave how they could improve the service. They were told.

I can fully understand (dont agree but do understand) why people are going, oh it's just a cold (those with very mild cases) and carrying on. If you are paid minimum wage and they screw up the tests/lose the tests then you have lost a lot of money.

Result arrived this morning! Negative - phew! Fingers crossed for everyone still waiting.

got mine yesterday afternoon, negative.

While it is great relief it is a bit concerning that the only time I went out since Feb for an appointment, I managed to pick up a bug.

It is worrying that the measures of hand washing and mask wearing are not enough. But I guess that it is all that we can do.

Still no news here. Took the test at 8pm Thursday, went in the 4pm post on Friday, Glasgow received it on Saturday and still no results! I'm completely driving myself nuts checking my phone.

I didn’t take a test at the time as I felt totally fine. Now I’m reading that Covid can present as digestive issues. I will not be doing a postal test! It takes too long

I have a friend who took a test centre test and it has taken 5 days for her (positive) result to come back. We took postal and we are now 5 days and counting (only for 3 of them).

Negative came through mid day today - posted Wednesday, arrived Glasgow Thursday morning -

DD’s result has finally arrived and thankfully it’s negative. DS (20) who usually stays firmly in his room appeared this evening and asked me to have a look down his throat - White pus spots so he’s got a throat infection too which is probably what DD has/had.

So bugs and germs are clearly still circulating. No idea what my abdominal pain is all about, it’s all happening here! At least it’s not Covid though!

Just for context DDs result was posted Thursday and was delivered to the lab Friday. Result came through at 22.15 this evening

We finally got the last of our results back last night. All negative thankfully.

Still nothing! I keep checking my spam email folder too just incase.

For gods sake. I just got an email and it's that bloody surgery thing again. I'm getting really peed off waiting now. If I ever need a test again o won't be ordering a home kit.
