Temp fluctuations - isolate?

Sorry for the stupid question (please no flaming, feeling like crap right now).

So, dc2 developed a cold on saturday - snotty nose, runny eyes, sneezing and a bit tired but generally fine. Sunday, I developed a sore throat, crazy amount of sneezing - Monday I developed a rotten headache (still there), heavy aches and tired. (DH and dc1 also sneezing and tired amd bunged up but that is is).

On the surface, I would say cold (I often succumb much worse then anyone else in the house - think my immune system is a bit naff).

BUT, I went to bed with dc2 earlier under a light quilt and in pyjamas, I felt warm before hand but temp was around 37. When I got up I still felt warm but temp climbed to 100.39 F (close to 38c), I checked again 20 mins after getting out of bed and it dropped again to 100.03 F and now it is at 98.56 F (I've had the door open for the cat whilst I sat around).

Would you isolate with brief spike in temp that could be down to bedding, heating (I was chilly earlier so had it on)etc?

(I have a test on way as ZOE app sent email email to test with sore throat and aches).

Yes I absolutely would test. Headaches are common with covid. Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks @Northernsoullover

I've just woken DH so he can ring work to isolate whilst we wait for test to arrive (he is due to start at 5).
