I'm flying into Manchester this morning alone with a two year old and getting a train to Piccadilly where I will change to a train to my hometown (which isn't under lockdown).

Anyone know what the atmosphere is like at the airport/station? Are there extra restrictions? Are toilets open? Are security staff being all aggressive and mean?

Just wanted to let myself know what I'm in for!

Train station is fine. Extra staff. One way system in place in parts when you're walking along. Staff firm but helpful. Mask on as soon as you enter the building and keep it on. Toilets open. Sanitiser at entrances. Atmosphere bit weird but ok. Everyone is a bit on edge and fed up but that's the vibe anywhere these days.

Thanks @CutCopyPastedLikeYou that's a relief because I will definitely need to take dd to the toilet whenever she needs to go. Was thinking about putting her in a nappy otherwise.

Usually fine traveling just the two of us but due to corona I'm super nervous this morning.

I flew home from Manchester with my 4 year old on Sunday. Airport much the same as it usually is, besides everyone wearing masks, and hand sanitizer stations dotted about.
