Softplay parties

Local softplay seems to be doing parties for up to 30 surely this is not allowed? Unless it's because it's a business organised. But then we wouldn't have the 15 max rule for wedding receptions.

I think softplay centres can run at either a 40% or 50% capacity. So depending on the size of the place depends on how many children can attend

I can’t see how it would be allowed in England but there are so many exemptions. Maybe they do some grouse shooting whilst in there than it’s ok? Ask Boris he seems to be clear on the rules

It’s not allowed in the guidelines they have issued for the industry. There’s a section in there about not having any activity that knowingly allows or encourages groups greater than six to gather, which rules out parties. Some are chancing it under the idea that those individual kids could be attending separately though.

So if you got married and held your reception at soft play you could have 30 guests! Imagining them all in the ball pit in their smart clothes while drinking champagne.

Grin I think a soft play reception could be fun. Is trash the dress still a thing?
