Pull kids out of school

I'm in county Durham. Most schools in my area are reporting cases now. My kids schools haven't yet but I'm really concerned it's just a matter of time. I'm conflicted. One one hand I want to pull them out and wrap them in cotton wool but on the other hand I don't want to disrupt their education any more than necessary. I just don't know what to do.

@Mummyworriestoomuch Campaign group that started as "we need to get these kids back to school" and has now morphed into "if EVERY child does not attend school EXACTLY the same as it was prelockdown with NO mitigation measures to contain infection then you're all child-hating monsters".

They seem to be astro-turfing around here a lot lately.

I think it depends on your individual situation, and vulnerability of anyone in the household. No one should be forcing their views or opinions on anyone and making anyone feel bad for their decisions, on the other hand it is ok for us all to have different points of view, as we all have different priorities. I do feel that people should be given the option of home schooling if they prefer, and work should be made available online for those children as well as any that our isolating. Our school have been quite good at doing this already.
