If you are WFH, when are you returning?

We have been told we won't be fully returning basically until a vaccine has been developed for COVID. I have no idea how long this is going to be.

When are you all returning?

Spring 2021

It's beyond SHIT

The plan was first full week in October. We recieved an email 5pm Tuesday to say that we now wont be (apart from the small few who are already back) and no date given as to when we will be back.
I’m expecting until after Christmas now, could be until March 2021, which will be a full year away from the office.
I was looking forward to going back but i suppose i’m pleased to avoid public transport & rush hour in winter. And being able to pick the kids up myself instead of asking my Mum to help out again.

Dh went back to the office last week, under protest. As soon as Boris said people should work from home if they can, dh was straight on the phone to let his boss know he's wfh again "as it's government advice". Dh is thrilled, and will be staying at home as long as possible!!!

I'm a teacher, so not wfh unless I/we need to isolate for a while.

I can't imagine it'll be before Easter.

Realistically (once this is over) it's likely to be WFH most of the time and meeting in the office once a month. I'm happy with that but I know other colleagues would struggle. Thankfully our employer is trying to allow more flexibility so we're all likely to be on different arrangements when this is over.

Officially January, but I'm sure that'll change to later in the year or whenever things go back to more normality. The office is open but for very limited numbers who have to pre-book.

I do miss the office, being in London and my colleagues, but I can't say I'm sad to be missing all those mornings on a freezing cold train platform, or being stuffed into a train with condensation on the windows and no space for coats.

We were back 1 or 2 days per week, just but now we're back home again for the foreseeable!

But also using Task Team Individual so if we need to be in for a specific task or socially distanced team event bla bla then we go in!

Ellsbells12 · 24/09/2020 21:36

I think March !!!! And I was going back in the office October
Gutted

DeeThree · 24/09/2020 21:45

We've been officially told we won't be back till at least April

PegasusReturns · 24/09/2020 21:47

Not until there’s a vaccine or the 14 day case average is much lower and stable.

OublietteBravo · 24/09/2020 21:58

This week’s email said not before next Spring. HR are currently saying that it’s unlikely we’ll be back in the office full time before summer 2022 ShockShock

It makes me sad. I hate WFH with a passion. Really, really hate it.

WestTen · 24/09/2020 22:00

@OublietteBravo Wow, that's a long time!
