Re-wearing cloth masks without washing

I work at a primary school and we’ve been told we have to wear masks at all times now, except in the classrooms, which is fine. The email said we need to use a cloth mask and should keep it in a plastic bag for repeat use during the day - am I wrong in thinking this could increase the risk through touching and putting back on your face something that you’ve already breathed all over and has been exposed to others?

I had a quick Google and it looks like Ottawa’s health department says this is OK and I guess that’s what secondary teachers and pupils do, so I’m not sure if I’m being OTT about it as I don’t like the idea.

Whether you are using a fresh mask every time or not, don't forget hand hygiene. Before, after and all the other times as well

I have a handbag sized disinfectant spray in my bag and give it a good spray as I take it off, then let it dry before putting back on.

I dropped my face mask on the floor just before putting it on outside a shop yesterday, just where people walk in and out of the shop. It fell in some dusty leaves that had blown about, but I still put it on after. I washed it when I got home, and just put it down on my bed for a minute, then one of my cats sat on it. It will be quite ok ha ha,
