So basically live in Lancashire and we're expecting new restrictions. They are rumoured to be the same as the NE. If they are, please can someone help clear a few things up for me?

This is my situation. I live with my parents and my 3.5 yr old son who attends nursery and my 17 weeks old baby.

My mum would normally pick my niece up from school on a Tuesday and she would stay for tea. Will this be disallowed due to the restrictions despite it being for childcare?

My sister lives with her husband and 2 children. Husband works 6-6 so she spends the majority of the week on her own. She can't make a support bubble because her husband comes home to sleep. During the last lockdown her mental health was massively effected and I'm worried about her going through it again. Are we allowed to go for walks to support her?

Thanks ;)

Im NE and in a similar position, I have 3 kids and my DP works very long hours. Technically it's not allowed no Sad I have been meeting my DM on her lunch break for a walk round the park and according to the new rules I'm not allowed. I really don't think I can go back to spending Mon-Fri completely alone without any adults to talk toSad

And informal childcare is not allowed although there is alot of fight back on that so hopefully might change

Your Mum bringing your niece into the home is illegal and she could be fined. The councils asked the government for an exception to this but last night the gov said no. I know teachers and GP who this morning have to break the law or not go into work. Going for walks with your sister or meeting in a park is not illegal but against the guidelines
