Back to school-what does it look like where you are?

So my kids went back to school today. We live in Cyprus and I have a 14 year old and a 16 year old. Here primary school is 6 years, and then secondary education is two different schools of 3 years each. So I have one at each stage of secondary schooling. 14 yr olds school-different years enter the school through different gates, all lessons are held in the same classroom, desks are two kids to one desk but separated by plexiglass. Masks worn by everyone students and teachers whilst inside the classroom, masks removed when out in the school yard. Hand sanitizer at each doorway. Water fountains have been taped off.
16 year olds school masks and sanitizer as above. Again children not moving between classroom as usual but take all lessons in the one classroom. Here they have one child to each desk.

What are things like where you are?

Sounds awful. I am a secondary teacher in the UK. My students wear masks in the corridor. We have a one way system. Classes mostly stay still and teachers move. Desks facing the front but pretty normal.

Eastern England...

tbh, the interesting one is my 16 yr old. He's only allowed in the building for classes so at all other times has to wander around the city (too far to go home between lessons). In nice weather the kids go to the park to do homework, but soon the weather won't be nice. Maybe they will sit on ground in indoor malls in small clusters trying to do school work.

Bored teenagers with nowhere to go all day. What could possibly go wrong?
