I can only find information about the rises in other European countries, and was wondering if they have similar rules to Scotland/Wales/England. Does anyone know?

Haha now it makes sense! Grin Easily done.

Re. masks, we basically only have to wear them at the hairdresser or on buses outside the capital area (yeah I don't understand the rationale here either), kids and teenagers aged 15 or under exempt. A handful of people choose to wear them in other situations but they are a very small minority. Masks have never been in mass use here. We're supposed to keep 1 metre distance in public, though (most are pretty relaxed about this by now).

Can you get hold of a copy of the Times today? There is a clear infographic of other European countries in today's edition.

From a quick glance, I think England and NI are only countries to include children in the '6'. Holland 6. Belgium 5... Both exclude young children from count, for example.

I'm in NL. We're at 6 at home including in your garden, excluding children. In restaurants etc up to 100 with tables, and more than 100 are allowed if you book in advance and register details and have tables. I'm not sure if it's official, but in my city we're always asked how many households we are you're not allowed to sit together even outside if you're more than 2 or more than 4 people in total. I've seen plenty of people sat outside restaurants in large spaced circles outside the city centre, so I think that's not being adhered to very strongly, apart from where there are police!

Oh, and the rule of 6 doesn't apply if you all go to the park, so long as you keep 1.5m away. We've had plenty of picnic parties. And I love this video of a socially distanced and officially acceptable salsa class complete with police horses in the park!
