@AmelieTaylor 37.7 which while slightly below the gov guideline is very high for him as he has a low temperature when well, I have a lower than average temp too.
The nhs guidelines for the test say 'hot to touch' rather than a specific temperature
I wasn't saying you'd over reacted Btw. You asked what I'd do, so that's what I replied with
So pleased he got a negative result so quickly.
37,7 I'd have booked a test too.
They do say 'hot to touch' but i prefer to take a temperature & when you know regular baselines on the same thermometer it's a good guide.
How's he feeling today?
DC that was isolating on Friday, her classmate got a negative test result yesterday. So they're all back in Monday, but with the % of false negatives I'm not sure the unwell child should be back in Covid wise it's just general 'bugs' wise. They have an excellent online provision, so if she was mine, she'd be staying home & doing that - 'just in case!
Winter is going to be a right bloody nightmare isn't it!
My friend, her DH & their 3 kids all work/go to school (different schools at that). She has been told there's a limit on how many (isolating) days they can take!! She's also in a broom cupboard small office with 3 others who all have kids at other schools & spouses with public facing jobs. She's a bit vulnerable too, so it's going to be awful. They've already had teachers & students off.
