DH and I were talking about this. It's already clear that just as Zoom became a household name almost overnight, other companies and services will do well as a result of this pandemic.
New things may also spring up to maximise opportunities.
Our thoughts were:
What will do well:
- sheds/garden rooms/home office buildings
- bikes (especially e bikes)
- everything related to outdoor garden spaces - furniture/ fire pits/ awnings/heaters
- warm outdoor clothing (much more sitting outside)
- apps to make booking and collecting check-ins etc easier
- small groups organised outdoor activities - walking/sports/fitness
- streaming services and online entertainment
- home delivery 'nights in' e.g. cocktails/ meals etc
- online fitness classes
