If you’ve had a test in the last few days

How long did your results take? I’m wondering if labs being at full capacity means the results are taking longer to come through.

Sent yesterday, arrived there this morning. Nothing yet but sounds like we could be waiting a few days.

We were tested yesterday and i was hoping to have results back by Friday but from some of these responses that seems incredibly optimistic.

Tested Sunday evening 19:15

Results Tuesday morning at 6:00

Tested Saturday at 11am, got the results Sunday at 7am.

30 hours from test to result.

Tested at the Glasgow airport testing centre at 0830 on Friday morning.

Results came through at 1900 on Friday evening.

Tested in NW yesterday morning. Hoping to get results by Friday. They said 24-48 hours at the centre but maybe there weren't aware of the capacity issues?

Tested yesterday morning, got the results this afternoon.

Test slot was 11.30-12 on Monday, results back at 13.58 today. Thankfully negative.

I am doing the vaccine trial so swab weekly. Did it on Friday and have only just got the results back so they are defo backed up.

Same here. Waited 6 days for last test results! I wonder if we get put to the bottom of the pile because we are asymptomatic & in the vaccine trial?
Still a silly time to wait- especially if we end up being positive as that's days of potential virus spreading. I have just sent off this week's & complained on the "what do you think of our test system" survey.

My sister is awaiting her results - posted by 5pm Friday and still nothing. We are in the North East.

Did you get them by text or email? I'm waiting on results for 3 tests taken on Tuesday and was hoping to wake up to at least 1 result but so far I've had nothing for any of them. I was presuming the results are more likely to arrive by text but they also took email addresses so juat wanted to double check where is best to look.

I've just received my results, via text and email from a test I sent off early Monday morning, so 72 hours. My husband is still waiting

Just got mine back - ordered Friday morning, taken and posted back on Monday afternoon, results Thursday afternoon.

They received my postal test yesterday at 8am, still waiting for results.

Mine was before the most recent surge but was 22h- got a text and email at the same time

DD tested at 9.30am yesterday got the results at 7pm.

Monday 8pm in manchester got results wednesday 12pm

My daughter's friend tested Monday got result yesterday (if it had been positive then dd would have had to isolate for 14 days)

Postal test sent Monday morning not heard anything yet

the attached graphic is possibly useful. Suggests that last week (obviously this week is different) roughly 60 or 70 % were getting results in 24 hours if you were getting tested at a "regional" or "mobile" testing site.

We finally got ours back about an hour ago which was right on the cusp of the 48 hour window they gave us.
