Hi sorry if I am a bit slow but how long is this "covid law" approved for eg illegal to have a gathering more than 30 ppl etc

It will be until the need passes, but probably not long if people are sensible. The government don't want this. They want the economy working properly again.

The one announced tonight makes it illegal to have more than 6 households gathering, is that what you meant? The 30 is for weddings and maybe a few other things.

The main Covid legislation is to be reviewed in parliament shortly, has to be every 6 months, so I don't know whether this will be part of that.

That's the scary thing all thee laws being introduced.

Any covid law should have a max term of 3 to 5weeks and then have to be renewed.

I am dubious actually how many things are actually laws.

Until the secretary of state considers them no longer necessary to prevent the spread of COVID.

If the secretary of state gets power mad, the only restriction is parliament.
