How is your life different to the beginning of the year?

From my perspective, other than taking precautions around my elderly parents, there are now few differences between my life now and before this all kicked off. I have a larger gap between myself and my students, my rooms are colder, my students are whingier, and I have to move about a lot more between lessons. My kids have stopped their after school clubs. I have stopped visiting one extremely vulnerable friend.

How different is your day to day life from say, February?

WFH instead of office
Hardly seen friends

Basically a lot less socialising! I love seeing my friends and colleagues so I look forward to when things get a bit more normal again. I like that work doesn't involve a commute and parking etc at the mo.

Almost back to normal.

Things that are different are not working due to being on mat leave and not seeing as many people as I normally would. Still meeting with friends but not as many and often in a week.

My Ds went back to nursery in June so life has been fairly normal for him. I go to shops, cafes when I can afford it, the youth group I run restarted in the summer and will be back at work part time soon.
Living life as much as I can who knows when it will be restricted again.

Not much different at all really

We dont go out to eat, soft play, theatre, cinema etc now
We now have a puppy and are outside walking a lot more
Only meet friends outdoors
