Any teachers looking forward to going back want to chip in?

Just as we've needed threads that discuss people who get Covid and don't die/suffer long term complications, thought it might be nice for us to hear from teachers who are either feel their school has done a good job at protecting them or are looking forward to going back and not concerned about the risk x

I'm looking forward to the sense of normality that being back in school teaching my full class will bring.

I'm not looking forward to jumping through all the hoops that we will have to as staff to keep it as Covid-safe as possible. Nor the worry that I can bring something home to potentially pass on to my elderly Mum.

But the rate of infection is very low where we are, and we can't stay locked away. My own kids desperately need to get back to school because home learning even when your parent is a teacher is still not the same as going to school.

OP, a teacher who is "not concerned about the risk" is not someone you want to have teaching your child. Much better a teacher who is concerned, follows guidelines both in and out of school and responds positively and sensitively to the different needs of students.
