I find these quite stressful and anxiety provoking. How are we supposed to check air conditioning systems?

Would you follow all this stuff?

Seems a bit pointless from a "how to avoid the virus" viewpoint. If your office has these things, not much you can do about it.
I guess it's interesting from a purely information point of view.

Pixel7777 · 27/08/2020 18:22

That's what I thought. It's a bit odd to advise people to check things outwith their control

For public info maybe better to be more reasonable and not suggest things which are too difficult to do in practice?

No, it's typical of the bbc keeping up the scaremongering pressure. Load of bollocks.

I think it's not good for mental health in particular anxiety and OCD normalising this type of thinking, trying to control what is outside your control.

This I have always supported the BBC until now and been happy to pay the license fee. Their 'news' output over the last 6 months has been anything but balanced. Fear spreading has been rife and this is even worse. I probably currently watch 70 to 80% BBC programmes but I am looking at ways I can stop it. They are supposed to be impartial but they have been anything but.
Pixel7777 · 28/08/2020 16:52

What I find difficult is that I initially though "the BBC' as our main license -paid for news would be kind of well, sensible, and advise the public in a proportional and sensible way. That seems kind of reasonable.

However they seem like something like the Daily Mail in their sensationalist stance.

I think they take stories directly from The DM. The BBC news website content has become increasingly shite for the last few years.
