Just that really .

I can't help thinking that visors might be slightly less effective in reducing transmission but might work better in ,for example ,a school setting than masks .

I'm thinking ( probably wrong ) that they might be more comfortable and could be worn all day .

All guess work ,any hard facts around ?

I was wondering that, too. Haven't heard about a study so far.
But visors do look uncomfortable, because of the headband. I'd probably get a headache.

There has been a mask-efficiency study, though.

There was a study in Switzerland which I think was hairdresssers. There was an outbreak and all the people wearing only visors caught it but the people wearing masks didn’t.
Visors only work to stop droplets splashing into eyes but they don’t really protect others. They are designed to be worn with masks in hospital settings.

I remember reading one article about a hotel in Switzerland that had an outbreak in which only the staff members who wore visors caught covid 19, but not those who had opted to wear masks - so, anecdotal rather than scientific study. I think visors are definitely better than nothing, but they do have obvious flaws, given the huge gaps below the level of the visor and around the sides!
