Compliancy with face mask wearing in shops

Where I live (semi rural, small town, low covid rates) people are very compliant. I rarely see anyone without a mask shopping, the odd one or two in the whole time they've been made mandatory.

Today I went to visit my parents, they live in Birmingham, close to Sandwell and Smethwick, high rates of covid in these areas. After my visit I popped to their local supermarket en route home and noticed lots of customers, around 20-25% not wearing face masks and thought it's no wonder there are high rates with compliancy so low.

Sorry everyone, but part of my job where I work is to challenge ppl who are being non compliant with mask wearing. Not members of the public but work colleagues.

Am wondering if my local coop is in a "rough area" now, big argument in there about masks this morning.
I suppose if you can't tell your in a "rough area", you probably are, and further more you are NOT a "better class of person", and have thrown in the towel completely when it comes to life.
Honestly who knew the mask debate would bring out such vile snobbery.

@HeIenaDove

People like *@Burnthurst187* arent bothered about poorer people catching Covid...........they are only bothered about them spreading it

I suspect this was the real reason the Job Centres were closed.

True

And what has that got to do with anything.

What you do as part of your job doesn't entitle you to start on people in the street. Sounds like a bit of power has gone to your head.

We have builders on our estate. Imposed on us by the housing association. Tiny site office ............no masks in sight. This is a social housing estate. It has a tiny corner shop. I wonder if they have been wearing masks when going in there.

But i guess people know not to blame them right. Cos they arent tenants.

I never said I spoke to ppl in the street.
