The quotable one is back at it again. Let's add this to the growing list of her illustrious sayings.

Eg 'We don't want to disrupt people's lives' by banning mass gatherings (March 11th)

  • You'll know if track and trace are calling you, and not scammers, because they will sound 'professional'
  • 1 in 1700 people having covid means that on average you'll have to meet 1700 people before encountering covid...

Our staff room is closed. I only go to it on my way in in the morning to pick up my photocopying becaue I'm a 5 minute walk away, so just do without coffee, and eat my lunch while marking.

The Jenny Harries School of Logic. Lesson number 1. No children have been killed while playing hopskotch on the M25 so far this year. Therefore it is safe for children to play hopskotch on the motorway.

No children have been eaten by lions whilst being dangled over the side of enclosures by zookeepers this year, ergo it is safe for children to be dangled over the side of lion enclosures by zookeepers.
