Oh dear flappy tissue Confused

I saw what I can only refer to him now as 'Red Bucket Head Man'. Full red bucket on his head, navigating his way around Tesco. No eye holes, and I haven't stopped thinking about it. I can only assume he was navigating by looking down, and tilting bucket up when looking at produce?

CompleteBarstool · 07/08/2020 11:27

ROFL at Red Bucket Head Man 🤣

Surely he was doing that as a bet!!

JoJothesquirrel · 07/08/2020 11:31

I can’t help but talk like an east end gangster when checking everyone has their mask before we go anywhere. Does make me wonder how the genuine criminals are dealing with all this. No panic none when someone comes in wearing a mask and they might not describe your tattoos but I’d know where they’d got the mask, describe the design of the scarf etc.

Chesneyhawkes1 · 07/08/2020 11:36

My Mum has made a mask out of a Henry hoover bag and covered it with pretty fabric.

Good old Henry will filter out all the germs apparently 😂

BabyMoonPie · 07/08/2020 11:39

@IsAnybodyListening - "red bucket head man" made me laugh - thank you

EveryFlightBeginsWithAFall · 07/08/2020 11:46

A few months back I saw a man out with his dog, dog was wearing a mask man wasn't

ememem84 · 07/08/2020 11:46

Oh jeeez bucket man! 😂

I might get a mask printed with the bottom half of my face though. So it looks like my normal face. Maybe one with me smiling. One with a frowny face. Maybe a reversible one depending on mood.

StrangeAddiction · 07/08/2020 11:50

@Isotope456

I'm a big fan of the people who pull their t-shirt up over their face.
Blush I'll own up to the fact I forgot my mask and pulled my cardi over my nose and mouth to go in a cake shop Grin

I can't really "laugh" at people who have used a piece of fabric ie a duster or bra as essentially that's all the reusable masks are anyway but things like buckets, Big Mac carton and poo bags - WTF?! Grin

1forAll74 · 07/08/2020 12:08

This has been said up thread, But I was tidying a bedside cabinet earlier, and found two largish black sleep eye masks, and they look ok to use for the now purposes.

RyanBergarasTeeth · 07/08/2020 12:11

I personally know a bloke who uses a halloween mask to go out in Grin

purpleme12 · 07/08/2020 12:14

Aww I didn't know you could get a picture of your pet put on! That sounds ace!

HugeAckmansWife · 07/08/2020 17:31

I've been using wide headband type things. Much more comfortable than a mask and feel like 'normal' rather than something new.

Socialdistancing · 07/08/2020 21:52

There needs to be a compilation of photos of all these. It would cheer me right up.

torydeathdrug · 07/08/2020 22:19

Today I saw a woman wearing a proper mask which was (at first glance) the same colour as her skin - so in effect she had no facial features below her eyes ... that was extremely creepy!

homemadecommunistrussia · 07/08/2020 22:38

It's great to have fun with it I think.
A bucket sounds great I think eye wholes would be a good idea though.Grin

homemadecommunistrussia · 07/08/2020 22:39

Holes Blush

Heffalooomia · 07/08/2020 23:34

I'm going to make a flesh coloured mask so that I can look like this -->😶

homemadecommunistrussia · 11/08/2020 22:19

Friend of mine has a peachy/pink mask- it's pretty freaky!Shock

HEPA filters are recommended as a filter layer in washable masks. Henry bags are a cheap option for them! I've run out otherwise I would be using them as filters in my masks)
Youngatheart00 · 11/08/2020 22:28

Some of these are hilarious! I think it’s good to see the funny side sometimes, I really don’t like masks, I find them very sinister and unsettling. Before anyone has a go at me, yes, I’m still wearing them but it’s more seeing other people in masks that unsettles me than the actual wearing! So some of these light hearted / crazy ones have cheered me up
