Hi,

We are hoping to go away in a few weeks. I have health problems so need to be careful. We are staying in a van in a field and will be keeping away from everyone as much as possible.
I want to give the van a clean when we arrive for peace of mind, don’t want to use bleach because it smells awful.

What is the best cleaner to use please? I will use hot soapy water first but I was looking at 70% alcohol spay disinfectants. I’m wondering what businesses use for cleaning, pubs, care homes etc,

Also, what about fabrics? Are people taking their own bedding etc if they go away?

Thanks.

@llamazoom can I ask where you buy the sterizar? I think I would like some! There seems to be one distributor in the UK - are they happy to sell to individuals? Thanks!

@Lostmyshityear9 I buy from First Aid Warehouse but they are out of stock.
I’ve had a search around and TDB supply solutions sell Sterizar and have stock at the price I’ve always paid, Amazon has some but the prices are vastly inflated! This stuff kills everything.

Diluted bleach zaps everything and is dirt cheap you could even try injecting it - whaddya think ?

vera99 · 14/07/2020 18:32

I shouldn't have to say this but diluted bleach yes - but injection NO !

@llamazoom - thank you. I have had a look and will be ordering. I will be doing the desks in my room with it and my hands regularly.
