Masks - which ones are easiest to wear?

I’ve not been anywhere really since all this began, but got a couple of masks just in case. I needed to go to the doctors yesterday, so took one of the masks, an N95 one that fits snugly around the nose.

Within a minute or so of putting it on, I felt like I couldn’t breathe. I’m mildly asthmatic, but it was t that particularly; I just felt like I was trying to breathe through a plastic bag! I persevered with it whilst I was waiting, but the nurse told me I could take it off if I wanted, once I was in her room, as she said I was going a funny colour!

I’d like to try again with a different type, but not sure what to go for. I’ve also got a fabric one, which I can wear around the house, but it moves about a lot and seems a bit pointless. Are the paper type ones any better? Any recommendations welcome! Thanks :)

I think the consensus is any face covering is better than none (although some will be better than others) so I would go with a cloth one if that’s what you’re comfortable with.

I quite like the ones amber heard has been pictured wearing. It’s basically a long bandana/scarf but looks like it would allow for quite a lot of air movement underneath because the front comes down low over her chest.

I prefer reusable layered cotton masks as they’re soft and breathable

I made & wear a cotton one - tight weave and soft. double layer; Is comfortable and fits the face gently, also absorbs moisture from my breath, which is the point of it. I wear it when in indoor public places and it does get a bit warm and damp, but can take it off when in the fresh air, and is washable.

I've got several different types and much prefer the reusable N95 foamy one. It doesn't interfere with my glasses and I do not need to adapt it to my face.
The otheres are prettier though ...
