Changed nursery days/hours since reopening this week?

If your child has returned to nursery this week or planning to soon has the nursery limited attendance (days or session timings) to reflect the reduced number of children that are allowed in the bubbles/rooms. I'm trying to manage work expectations around my childcare needs. Previously she was in 4 full days but is now only allocated 2 full days. Wondered if that was similar to what other nurseries were doing?

My DD's nursery is having her back full time, same as she was before lockdown. But I get the feeling they don't have that many kids going back so don't need/want to limit it further.

This is one of the reasons dd isn’t going back. She used to do two and a half days that fitted with my work hours and was offered the opposite.

It’s a shame but I’m half relieved the decision to send her back was taken out of my hands and half gutted for her because she needs it and would’ve loved it.

Mine has gone back 'full time' but shorter days, 8.30-4 only lunch, rather than 7.45-6 and all meals. They've obviously reduced the cost accordingly. It's fine as I'm still working from home but would be less ideal if in the office.

Ma DS was in full time 8-6 prior to COVID. When they reopened on Monday he was offered only four days at 9-3. They've now said from mid June he can go in five days 8-5....I presume as other children had dropped their places.
Nursery have confirmed they're only allowed a max of 16 children and they normally have 30.

Our nursery has opened fully with everyone allowed their previous days as normal. In fact, I’ve added an extra day as we’ve lost grandparent care. Our nursery is in quite a large, multi room building but serving a fairly small, semi rural community, so I get the impression they are never full anyway. The bubbles are simply the room they are normally in, up to 10 children & no social distancing between the kids.

The day is normal hours & full meals are being provided as normal.

My friends nurseries vary a little. Most are open as normal but not providing meals or only providing a packed lunch style offering at lunch time..

Considering I've been (trying to) work with no childcare, I'm relieved to have the 2 days. I was just under the impression that most people weren't sending their kids back to childcare or school so was surprised to only get half of what I previously had! Sounds like its fairly common experience though. Thanks.

Our nursery is open as normal since 1st June, everyone has been encouraged to attend, meals provided as usual and everyone guaranteed their usual booking pattern. It is a large nursery with a lot of outdoor space. We are very happy about it although DD was attending throughout anyway as DH is a keyworker.

Working parents have been given the same hours they had previously if wanted. Other parents who are at home offered what was left
