Whether it turns out to be a vaccine or a treatment that can stop people dying in their thousands it will be wonderful.

Woops, yes but any vaccine risks being privatised and sold off to the highest bidder.

I am personally in favour of wearing face coverings until that point - Asian countries have nearly 90% of their population wearing them. They do not have a vaccine yet but somehow have the lowest number of deaths.

Maybe something else is working there...

30,000 participants are being recruited to Oxford trial in the US by AstraZeneca. As mentioned earlier, Brazil will be participating also by enrolling 2000 people. So we will have around 10,000 in the UK too. These are very good numbers of trial participants to ensure a big enough sample for these trials and to hopefully get quick results.
