Hi,

This August, my family, including DP, DD, DS, BIL and their 2 DCs, DM and DF, are all supposed to be going away to the coast, all staying in one house for a week.

It's just not going to happen is it?

My DM wants to hold off until the last minute and thinks there's still a chance, but there's no way we'll be allowed to mix HH by this point, is there?

Seems to me like we should just draw a line under it and let all the DCs know, so they're not gutted at the last minute.

What does anyone think? Would you cancel now?

Just found this thread, and we are in a similar position, holiday cottage booked in UK, mid August, for three households.
A few weeks on now, do you think this is looking more likely to go ahead? (I know no one can no for sure!)

We’re the same. 3 households booked to share a house in Devon for the first week of August. Must be lots of others in this position too. I fear they’re going to say only self-contained single household holidays are allowed. I just hope they’re explicit about it this week.

I just want to go to my holiday home in the UK. Spain is letting holiday home owners go THERE, but I'm not allowed to go and sort out a massively out of control garden in Cornwall. It's mental.

We’re due to go to Spain at the end of July, but I’m meant to be taking my nephew with me, then his mum will come out staying nearby, then one of my girls will stay on with them when I come home.
